The reversible soil compactors CR 6 and CR 7 / CR 7 Hd stand out above the competition with their superb compacting capacity and superior efficiency. Machines made by Weber MT are always the number one choice - whether they are needed for classic applications in road building and civil engineering or for embedding paving stones. Their balanced operating characteristics and exceptionally smooth operation with low hand-arm vibrations provide for superb ease of use. This high level of comfort is also guaranteed by the guide bar which can be folded up and locked as well as adjusted to the operator‘s body height.
An all-around enclosure and the sturdy frame provide full protection for the engine, thereby increasing operational reliability. Meanwhile, the maintenance door in the front of the machine provides easy access to all essential maintenance points.
Apart from the standard features including E-start, other features are also offered for the CR 7 soil compactor with Hatz diesel engine. The features available in the „MDM“ and the „CCD 2.0“ versions of these models include, respectively, a motor data management system and the COMPATROL® compaction control system.
The CR 7 is also available with WEtrac - Weber MT´s machine data telemetry.
Brand new: Weber Smart Assist.
The software of the Weber Smart Assist (WSA) analyses the signals transmitted by the sensors built into the machine and indicates them graphically as symbols. Just like Weber MT’s established engine protection feature, the engine will switch off whenever damage to the engine can be expected if the operation continues. Better yet: The user is even shown how to correct the indicated error with the help of the symbols indicated by the system. For instance, the system will show the user step by step how they can clean a heavily clogged air filter or replace the filter element. Also integrated into the Weber Smart Assist is the COMPATROL compaction control system, which has been re-designed. It utilizes a bar graph that is easy to read and understand to show the user the progress of the compaction.
Also new is the way the machines are operated. Once the machine has started, the vibration feature is activated with the press of a button. A gas lever is not necessary as the engines automatically reach to the proper speed. The machines are equipped with next-generation Hatz diesel engines of the E1 series. If requested, the new WSA soil compactors can also be furnished with diesel particulate filters.
Alternatively, the model CR 7 is also available with Honda gasoline engine - CR 7 Hd.
